Judson Bible College is affiliated with Davis College. And, the courses designed for Diploma in Ministerial Studies are accepted by Davis College only if the students hold High School Diploma. JBC students who have successfully completed their 2-year Diploma courses, are eligible to transfer their credit hours to Davis College program as third year students provided they hold High School Diploma or GED or equivalent education at the time. That means, transfer students will be able to pursue another two-year Degree courses offered by Davis College for Bachelor Degree in Ministerial Studies. ​

 

Certificate in Ministerial Studies may be earned upon completing twelve courses in twelve months. Diploma in Ministerial Studies may be earned with an additional year and the completion of twelve advanced courses. Supervised practical ministry is required in both educational options for Internal and External academic programs. Internal academic program is offered to students who do not hold High School Diploma where as External academic program is offered to students who hold High School Diploma.

Classes may be taken at the National Capital Region campus or at one of several extension campus locations in:Indiana, New York State, Wisconsin.

Degree Programs and Accreditation

1.Certificate in Ministerial Studies: A twelve-month program including the following courses:

Basic English, Computer Skills, Introduction to New Testament, Introduction to Old Testament, Methods of Bible Study, General Church History, Introduction to Theology, Doctrine of Holiness, Christian Education, Spiritual Formation, Evangelism & Church Health, Pastoral Ministries, and Introduction to Homiletic.

 

2.Diploma in Ministerial Studies:

A twenty-four month program that in addition to the Certificate courses includes the following advanced courses:

Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy & Ethics, Old Testament elective, New Testament elective, Advanced Theology, Global/Intercultural Ministries, Worship, Expository Preaching, Church Leadership & Management, Denominational Distinctive, and Pastoral Counseling.

3. Associate Degree in Ministerial Studies​​

Students, who have successfully completed Diploma in Ministerial Studies, are eligible to pursue Associate Degree in Ministerial Studies.

4. Bachelor Degree in Ministerial Studies​​

​Students, who have successfully completed Associate Degree in Ministerial Studies, are eligible to pursue Bachelor degree in Ministerial Studies. ​

Additional certificate courses for Lay Leadership Training: All courses are made available for lay leaders for leadership training.​

Regional Accreditation
Davis College was accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education in 2005. The Commission is recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education for accrediting activities in the Middle States region, which includes the District of Columbia, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Island.

Professional Accreditation
In 2006, Davis College was reaffirmed for its accreditation with the Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) for the next ten years. ABHE provides accreditation and services for institutions and programs of biblical higher education within Canada, the United States, and related territories. Davis College has been accredited by ABHE since 1985.
