Dr Ngo Thian Pau
President and Founder
Nationwide CROWNS Centers
Hailed from a poverty-stricken and civil war-torn country, Myanmar, Pau set foot in the first foreign land, Malaysia right after completing his Matriculation (High School).
Like other students in the entire Myanmar, his academic journey was abruptly disrupted by the frequent closure of nationwide schools due to political chaos. So, he decided to seek employment outside of his homeland. He immigrated to Malaysia to seek a better life and make a living through employment. After four years, he briefly returned to his motherland to apply for a student passport for further study in Malaysia. He was one of a few pioneering students from Chin State, Myanmar. His special interest in English literature enabled him skip taking English Intensive Course, which may last up to 12 months depending on English proficiency level of each prospective international students by passing English placement test. One of his paternal uncles from United States sponsored the first year of his tertiary education in Malaysia. However, the financial sponsorship was cut short and that he was drawn near to God. He was in dilemma whether to return to his motherland or overstay in Malaysia.Out of curiosity, he agreed to accompany his distant male cousin upon his personal invitation to attend his church.
He learned that Myanmar congregation was gathering at that church. One of the pioneers was a brother from Myanmar serving as an interpreter helping a Chinese pastor, who ministers to the Myanmar congregation on a regular basis. He was requested to interpret her sermon as as the interpreter brother recently underwent appendectomy and was recovering from it. He had no anticipation and expectation to get involved in the ministry prior to assisting the pastor as an interpreter. Pastor Lily Chin invited him to get involved in the church administration and outreach ministry as a part-time lay person. The LORD later opened the door for him to serve Him full-time in Myanmar ministry. He was sent twice to Cambodia as a short-term missionary. He served in the ministry as an administrator, a worship leader, and an assistant to the pastor from 2001 through 2005.
He earned a business degree, BBA from International American University, Los Angeles, CA in 2011 and also completed Diploma in Medical Transcription (DMT) from Blackstone Career Institute, Allentown, PA in 2012. He also earned Theological degrees in the United States. He received Master of Ministry degree and Doctor of Theology (ThD) degree from Great Commission Bible College (GCBC)respectively in 2013 and 2018. He is also involved in various local and outreach ministries in Malaysia and here in the United States. He is currently pursuing MBA from University of the People.
He is also the President of Shine Forth Commercial Cleaning Service. He has been operating this commercial cleaning business since 2014. He is managing more than 20 employees and constantly expanding his business In addition, he also started operating Manna Minimart Vending, LLC in February 2025. He founded CROWNS Ministries in June 2023 and started off with a full-time missionary, Sayama Niangseen and her mother Sayama Hau Vung. The first mission center was established at their house in Taukkyan, Yangon, Myanmar. About a year later, another missionary joined our team. Sayama Cherry Oo became another full-time missionary cum evangelist and established the 2nd mission center in Thanlyin in January 2024. The third missionary joined our team in November 2024 and established the 3rd mission center in Taukkyan area as well. Saya J Pau later joined our team sometime in January 2025. He is based in Tahan, Kalaymyo and works with us on a part-time basis and established the 4th mission center. The Lord continued adding another worker in His vineyard, Rev Khanno as a part-time missionary, with whom, our team established the 5th mission center, Tahan, Kalaymyo. In the meantime, Saya Mang joined us as a full-time missionary and established the 6th mission center in Shan State, where he has been serving the Lord for over the past 10 years. Early June, Sayama Huai and Sayama Ruth joined our team as part-time missionaries focusing on the children in Dagon township. They take the oversight of two children camps called camp 60 and camp 65 and established the 7th mission center.
There are uphill tasks ahead of us challenging us to promote the gospel message due to the on-going civil war across the country. In February 2024, the military junta declared mandatory military service for men aged 18 to 35 and women aged 18 to 27. Thus, we need your prayers for our own safety and security while sharing the good news in the dark.
Saya Brian Zam

Born and raised in Myanmar, Brian Zam is the youngest son of Rev. Thang Thawng and Nu Hau Huai, both dedicated figures in their ministry. Together with his brother and sister, Brian has embraced a life of service from an early age, playing a vital role in his parents’ mission as both a pastor’s child and a missionary child. His deep commitment to the Lord reflects his upbringing and passion for making a positive impact in his community.
Brian has a formal theological education that includes a BTh from Maranatha Bible College in Kale Myo, Myanmar; an MA in Theology and an MDiv from Yangon, Myanmar; and a BA from Tokyo Christian University in Japan, where he received a full scholarship for four consecutive years. He also earned an MBA and MS in management and leadership from Western Governors University, Utah, United States.
He began his full-time ministry in 2007 when he joined the pastoral staff at the International Christian Centre (ICC-AG) in Yangon. In this role, he oversaw youth ministry, literature ministry, home cell groups, and the Vision Bible Institute as well as provided translation and interpretation services. From 2004 to 2009, he was one of the lead interpreters at ICC-AG and served as academic dean at Yangon Vision Christian College.
Brian moved to Japan in 2009, where he completed his field education and internship at Tokyo Baptist Church, leading the Joy Café ministry and sharing the Gospel while praying for people over a cup of coffee. He also served as an associate pastor at Gospel Mission Church and regularly preached at Zomi Christian Fellowship in Tokyo. While serving the Lord at two different churches, he worked for Kanda Institute of Foreign Languages as an English-language tutor in the school’s English Conversation Lounge.
Brian lived in Japan for many years before moving to the United States, where he married his beautiful wife. He serves the Lord at several local churches in Fremont, including both English-speaking and Burmese-speaking congregations. In April 2023, he joined Judson Bible College as a co-facilitator working alongside Ashok Ghimire, who is a Consultant of North American Diaspora Ministry, Development Associates International (DAI) United States, to offer DAI lessons, which include topics such as spiritual formation, Christian ethics, and social development. Subsequently, the college appointed him as its financial advisor and a board member. Additionally, he teaches undergraduate classes independently.
In May 2025, Brian accepted the prestigious invitation to serve as vice president at Nationwide CROWNS Centers, embracing the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community.
Brian works as a supervisor at the United States Postal Service while serving the Lord in a bi-vocational role.

၂၀၁၅-၂၀၁၆မှစ၍ပြန်ကြားရေးနှင့်ပြည်သူ့ဆက်ဆံရေးဦးစီးဌါနမှပညာရေးဌါနသို့ပြောင်းရွေ့ခဲ့ပါသည်။ယခုမျက်မှောက်တွင်အကြောင်းအမျီုးမျီုးကြောင့်ရပ်နားခဲ့ခြင်းဖြစ်ပါသည။ အလုပ်မှရပ်နားခဲ့ရသော်ငြားလည်းဘုရားလမ်းပြပို့ဆောင်မူ့ကြောင့် Crowns Ministry နှင့် ၁.၂.၂၀၂၅တွင်စတင်ပါဝင် ခွင့်လက်တွဲခွင့်ရသောကြောင့်ဘုရာရှင်သာ၍ဘုန်ကြီးပါစေ။
